The Reverse Linkage programme matches institutions from Muslim countries, bringing them together in projects to share thinking and experience so that they can grow or resolve infrastructure challenges. It also helps fund the projects. This far-reaching programme brings huge benefits to the provider and recipient. It’s also a great story to tell. When we were approached to create compelling infographics to promote the programme, our work was so well received we didn’t stop there…
True to our three-step working model, we started by immersing ourselves in the main challenge – with the aim to bring the programme to life through the development of a cohesive and engaging visual language. We asked all the right questions and helped the client team create a strong brief.
The client supplied over 60 pages of information about the programme and its benefits, which we distilled down into the first deliverables – bespoke infographics, posters and leaflets.
As the programme grew in its scale and reach, we matched their output with new design solutions including event packs, in-depth reports and specialist brochures. The team’s ‘Change, Impact, Sustainable Development’ folder and leaflets are a standout example of our ability to design and deliver on brief.
As a multi-channel agency, we naturally looked at ways to grow the programme’s visibility in the marketplace and communicate with its key stakeholder audience. Our animators took up this challenge and delivered a series of powerful and eye-catching short animations in English, Arabic and French – our client’s core business languages. Fully accessible and scalable, these engaging films proved a big hit with delegates at conferences and with individuals when viewed on their mobile phones.
Within a matter of weeks, our first animation had become the Bank’s second most viewed video on YouTube.
Our work is always ‘on brand’ and the various Reverse Linkage projects are great examples of how our client’s Brand Guidelines can be practically and creatively extended into more diverse applications. Digital solutions like the animations have increased the programmes global reach… our first Reverse Linkage animation became the IsDB’s second most viewed video.
