ICO were looking for an agency to solve a big problem. They needed to plan, design and produce their inaugural Coffee Development Report (CDR) in time for World Coffee Day. The only problem was they only had a month to do it! One of our existing clients thought we would be perfect for this challenge and referred us directly to ICO. We took up the challenge.
Once we had developed our visual and verbal tone of voice we confidently selected photography, created illustrative assets and refined the draft editorial.
In early 2020 we consolidated ICO’s brand position with a Spanish language version and helped launch the second CDR. We created an engaging, fully illustrative approach that fully supports the diverse cultural narrative and promoted this through a high visibility social media campaign.

The first CDR was launched on Tuesday 1 October 2019 – World Coffee Day at the Swiss Embassy in London to a very positive take up from stakeholders and the global supply chain. The second issue has proved equally successful, building audience share and online exposure.
